Museums – National Stone Centre

 Liz has created an annotated illustration of limestone exctraction and processing at Tarmac’s Dene Quarry, near Wirksworth, Derbyshire. On a foggy day in March she took 2 local primary school groups to visit the quarry. Since then Liz has been weaving her own artwork around the children’s creative writing and pictures. The 2m long panel will be on display at the National Stone Centre in the Autumn
