Rothwell Big Draw

Liz has been involved with the BIG DRAW Campaign for Drawing since it began in 2000 – achieving an Inspiration runner-up award with Rothwell Juniors School in its first year

Pupils used observational drawing skills with their understanding of  dimension, area, size and proportion. Every child contributed a study of one small part of their own classroom,  corridors and grounds which were compiled into a huge scale map. The plan was put on display at Rothwell Public Library, to highlight and celebrate the school’s new extension, before taking up permanent residence in the school foyer as a reassuring guide for visitors and pupils alike.
